JUNE
[1] “Be content” can mean to be happy. What people are you happy for? What toys are you happy for? Which is better – toys or people?
[2] “Be content” can mean to be full. After dinner, rub your tummy and say, “I’m content. Thanks, mommy!”
[3] Draw a picture of your favorite things. Tell God, “thank you” for everything he has given you.
[4] Read the rest of Hebrews 13:5. How does that part help you be happy and full?
JULY
[1] Read the entire verse. Decide as a family what you would like to give to God this month.
[2] Selfishness makes it hard to give cheerfully. What nice toy can you give away this week?
[3] Read the verse after this one. How can this promise help you give cheerfully?
[4] Read the verse before this one. What happens to the person who gives little? What happens if you give much?
AUGUST
[1] Read the entire verse. Draw a picture of a very fancy and rich temple. How are you a temple?
[2] Take a walk as a family. What kinds of things did you do on your walk? What did you talk about? How can a person walk with God?
[3] Read your favorite Bible story out loud to Jesus. Pretend He is sitting right beside you.
[4] Find a quiet place to be alone with Jesus. Tell Him your favorite joke. Ask Him to help you today. Sing Him your favorite song.
