9:00 Preschool Worship: Lesson #26 – The Greatest of All

Who does Jesus think is a hero?  Who does He think is the greatest?  Is it the strongest person in this class?  The fastest?  The smartest?  No!  He thinks the highest about the person who is the humblest.  We need to think of others more than ourselves to be truly great.

9:00 Kids Church:  Lesson #27 – The Call to Character

The Christian life is not just about being saved.  It’s also about walking with Jesus after you’re saved---it’s about becoming more and more like Jesus.  And a big part of becoming like Jesus is living a clean life, putting away sinful behaviors and putting on godly attitudes.

10:45 Sunday School: Lesson #1 – Good Fruit

If you’re walking with Jesus, others will see it; there will be proof.  Only God knows your heart, but people can see your actions, and even your attitudes.  Walk closely with Jesus and His Spirit will bear much fruit in your life!

9:00 Preschool Worship: Lesson #50 (change in order due to Easter lessons) – Josiah Reads God’s Word

We want to walk with Jesus.  He is alive and real – but we can’t see Him!  How do you follow someone you can’t see?  You follow His words!  And where do we find the words of Jesus?  In the Bible!  When we read the Bible with open and willing hearts, He will change us!

 9:00 Kids Church:  Lesson #28 – A Whale of a Tale

What happens when we disobey Jesus?  What happens when we, who are following Jesus, go our own way instead?  Trouble happens, that’s what!  Jesus still forgives us and gives us a second chance – but it would be better for us not to spend 3 days in the stinking inwards of a fish, don’t you think? 

 10:45 Sunday School: Lesson #2 – The Parable of the Lost Son

What happens when we go a different way than Jesus wants us too?  We want to follow Him, but sometimes we are self-centered and go our own way – the wrong way!  Does Jesus get mad at us?  Does He punish us?  Does He refuse to take us back?  NO WAY, JOSE!  Like the father of this story, Jesus receives us back with joy.  “Yay!  You’re back!  I missed you!  Glad you’re here!”
