Berean Family
about us
Our Vision:
…to usher the presence of the Lord into our worship, enabling God’s people to have the freedom to praise Him in spirit and truth, and to experience the joy of the Lord, not only corporately, but in our everyday lives.

What Our Worship Is:
2 Chronicles 6:2…Then Solomon said, “I have built a magnificent temple for You, a place for You to dwell forever…”

The dedication of the temple in 2 Chronicles gives us a dynamic picture of what the Lord does in response to our obedience. Solomon said that he built a magnificent temple for God to dwell in. Later in the chapter, God ‘shows up’ and dwells within the temple!

Today, WE are the “Magnificent Temple” of the Holy Spirit. God has taken up residence within our “earthen vessels.”

As we yield our bodies as living sacrifices, God “shows up.” Our purpose as a Worship Ministry is to take the awesome privilege and responsibility we have and lead others into the presence of Almighty God. Worship is so much more than just singing and music…it should intersect every area of our lives. We are extravagant in our praise, and reverent in our worship!

Carriers

Carriers of the purpose and mission of the church
Berean's Purpose: to transform hurting people into healthy, spirit-empowered followers of Christ.
Berean's Mission: to glorify God through worshipping Him, proclaiming biblical truth, introducing people to Jesus Christ, discipling believers, and serving others as a loving, caring family as God called ''Make your calling and election sure'' (2 Peter 1:10).
While the worship ministry may not be your full-time occupation, our team is made up of servants who have a sense of calling to this ministry. We are all ministers, and as such, are held to a greater degree of responsibility.

Committed

''Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him." (James 1:12)
We are leading others, and therefore, must be strong, committed followers of Christ.

Competent

''Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for God! (Psalm 33: 3)
We are committed to excellence at Berean. Everything we do is for the Glory of God.
Therefore, we are continually developing our skills in order to offer our BEST to Him!

Connected

''Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
(Romans 12: 4-5)
Facilitating Godly relationships is essential to this ministry. We are a team, bearing one another's burdens as we pursue God's presence in unity! Members of our Worship Bands and Praise Teams are expected to be regularly involved in a Bible Study Group, either in Sunday School or in a Small Group setting.
